Mushroom-Powered Oatmeal

This warm, creamy oatmeal is made with our Mushroom Golden Blend Powder, offering a nourishing and brain-boosting way to start your day.

 

INGREDIENTS:

  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 2 cups unsweetened almond milk (or milk of choice)
  • 1 tablespoon Mushroom Golden Blend powder
  • 1 tablespoon maple syrup or honey
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • Pinch of sea salt
  • Toppings: sliced bananas, berries, chopped nuts, seeds, or a dollop of almond butter (optional)

 

PREPARATION:

  1. Cook the oats: In a medium-sized saucepan, combine the rolled oats and almond milk. Bring to a simmer over medium heat. Stir occasionally to prevent sticking, and cook for 5-7 minutes, or until the oats are tender and the mixture has thickened to your liking.
  2. Add the mushroom powders: Stir in the Mushroom Golden Blend powder, making sure they are fully incorporated into the oatmeal.
  3. Sweeten and spice: Add the maple syrup (or honey), ground cinnamon, and a pinch of sea salt. Stir well and taste for sweetness, adjusting as needed.
  4. Serve: Once the oatmeal is creamy and well-mixed, remove from the heat and divide it into bowls.
  5. Add toppings: Top your oatmeal with your favorite toppings, such as sliced bananas, berries, chopped nuts, seeds, or a dollop of almond butter, for added flavor and texture.
